Yang Min-hyuk finally appeared at the Hotspur Way (Tottenham Training Center).

"Yang Min-hyuk, who signed a contract this summer, made his first appearance on the Hotspur Way," Tottenham said on its website on Monday (Korea time). He finished this season with Kangwon FC in the K League 1 last month. Yang arrived in the U.K. this week ahead of joining the team on January 1 next year. Tottenham welcome him."

Tottenham released footage of Yang Min-hyuk doing weight training at the Hotspur Way Indoor Training Center. Yang Min-hyuk performed light weights in Tottenham's training suit.

The photo that drew fans' attention in particular showed Yang hopping and boosting his physical condition. The photo was played in front of senior Son Heung-min. Son, born in 1992, is a whopping 14 years older than Yang, who was born in 2006. He smiled at his father and watched him happily.

Yang Min-hyuk's tremendous performance throughout this season was the main reason why he was able to move to Tottenham. He joined Gangwon FC as a semi-professional before the opening of this season. 메이저사이트

Since then, he has won a professional contract just six months later and succeeded in a surprise transfer to Tottenham in July. Yang Min-hyuk's season has been truly tremendous. He has scored 12 goals and 6 assists throughout all league games.

At the end of the season, he won the K-League 1 Best Eleven right midfielder category and the Young Player Award at the "Hana Bank K-League 2024 Awards" in recognition of his skills.

He proved himself why Tottenham showed interest. Yang Min-hyuk's joining of Tottenham was originally scheduled for January next year. However, it was moved up by about two weeks at Tottenham's request.

Now, the eyes are on coach Enze Postecoglou's choice. Currently, Tottenham's side wingers are leaving due to frequent injuries, so the prospect of Yang Min-hyuk making his debut earlier than expected is gaining strength.

Ahead of the quarterfinal match against Manchester United in the English Football League Cup, Postecoglou said, "I met with Yang. He has been in our building for the past few days. He has been taking a good look around. Of course, we will not include Yang in our team's training because we cannot register him until January 1. I have experience working with Asian players at Celtic. I have helped them establish themselves outside the stadium."
